BUCHAN folk are in for a treat this weekend as the Peterhead Fishermen’s Mission hosts its annual Harbours Open Day.
Visitors can expect a fun-filled Saturday of family activities with stalls, entertainment and delicious treats.
More than 60 local businesses have signed up for this year’s event with exciting stalls from Bon Bon, Pampered Chef, Betty Bell Sweets, Fish Shopee, Rhiannon Jewellery, Waxed Wonders and many more.
Children will love having their faces painted and joining in with songs and dancing, while the Rotary Club, SSSPCA, RSPB, RNLI Lifeboat, CLAN cancer care and many more will be on hand to talk about the work that they do within the community.
Mission Superintendent George Power said: “Saturday promises to be an enjoyable day for all the family. Everyone is invited to come along and join in the fun while raising vital funds for our work.” The fun starts at 10.30am.
