Aden Country Park in Mintlaw is to open for its annual Aden Arts and Crafts Exhibition this month.

Local artists and crafters Isobel Gregory, Anne Watson, Heather Milne and Victoria Metson will all show their work in the Theatre space in the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum between 10am and 4pm daily (except Mondays) between Saturday 12 and Sunday 20 September.

Isobel will be exhibiting paintings, jewellery, cards and a varied selection of her many crafts. Anne will be exhibiting oil paintings and some water colour pictures along with playing her harp.

Heather will be exhibiting her paintings, prints, notecards and Scottish gifts.

Victoria will also be providing demonstrations in needle felting and spinning along with exhibiting needle felted pictures, flowers, brooches, knitted goods from home breed hand spun wool, wet felted items and hand sewn goods.

The timing of this exhibition has been planned to tie in with the hugely successful North East Open Studios (or NEOS for short) where artists, makers and galleries in the North East of Scotland open their doors to the public.

A collection of other local artists and crafters will also be showcasing their work in the Aden Craft & Gift Shop in Aden Country Park. The shop is open all year round from 10.30am to 4.30pm at weekends and 10am to 3.30pm on weekdays.

The craft & gift Shop is run by the Friends of Aden Country Park, in partnership with Willowbank Resource Centre.
