A concert will be held on Thursday, May 17 from 7pm to 10pm featuring the Garioch Blend dance band and Eddie Rose. Entry is £6 which includes raffle and refreshments. You can test your brain power with a family quiz night and disco which will be held on Friday, May 18, from 7pm til 12.30am.

The main events of the weekend kick-off on Saturday, May 19, with a parade from the car park at 12.45pm and the official opening, by Mr and Mrs D. Fowlie of Millhill, at 12.55pm.

There will be five-a-side football all afternoon, beginning at 1pm, while at the same time the netball gets underway as will a Tae Kwon Do demonstration in the main arena.

The Saturday fun will culminate in a special dance in the marquee, with music provided by Rock Solid and a disco, from 8.30pm til 12.30am. The dance is open to over 18s only, and tickets are available from Longside Social Club and Longside Shop.

The gala continues on Sunday, May 20, with a church service in the marquee from 10am til 11am, with the gala fun continuing at 1pm.
