The academic year may have come to a close but for six talented leavers from Peterhead Academy coursework is continuing.
A group of Advanced Higher art students from the school have teamed up with local art gallery owner Melissa Arcaro
to exhibit their final work.
The six teenagers also arranged a launch party on Monday, July 7 and curated the entire display, featuring dozens of pieces.

Gallery boss Melissa Arcaro said: “We have been looking forward to linking up with the academy for sometime now and are very pleased to be able to offer our exhibition space for free for the students to curate, host and promote their own exhibition.
“This will hopefully be the start of a future partnership with Peterhead Academy.”
Arcaro Arts recently moved into the old Brethen meeting hall on Peterhead’s Balmoor Terrace.
When she attended the launch of the new premises last month, MP Eilidh Whiteford said: “It will breathe new life into the town centre of Peterhead and offers great opportunites to local artists to exhibit their work.”
