There was continued success for young members of Peterhead Swimming Club at the last meet of 2014 and the fist of 2015 recently.

Elaine Murray who solely competed at Westhill.

Spurred on by their poolside coaches Angie May and Leigh Strachan, Ewan May, Ryan May, Skye Strachan and Maggie Wallace-Jayes travelled to Montrose to take part in one of the fun meets of the year, bringing 2014 to a close.

The foursome swam their hearts out and gave it everything they had in the relay event.

Some cracking PBs were achieved on the day and both coaches were ‘chuffed to bits’.

“We would say well done to the four of them and let’s hope their success continues in 2015,” said the coaches.

Meanwhile, well done to Elaine Murray who solely competed at Westhill at the SAS Junior Meet which was held on January 10 and 11.

It’s no mean feat being on your own but Elaine took the two-day challenge and gave it her all.

Achieving such great PBs in the first gala of the year is something to be proud of, and Elaine was congratulated by all her team buddies, coaches and club members.
