Damp conditions persisted throughout the day, which caused tricky conditions for the drivers who had assembled for the first round of Grampian Kart Club Championships and the second round of the National Kart Racing Association (Scottish Region).
Feature Trophy of the day was the Dickie Bent Trophy for a GKC driver selected by the marshals on the day. Jonathan Edwards performed the opening ceremony of the new gates to the circuit at the lunch interval.
