Briony Rollo, Caitlin Davies and Lauren Thomson from Peterhead Amateur Swimming Club can be proud of themselves for making times to participate in one of the biggest national meets to be held in Aberdeen.

Swimmers from all over the UK (a few of whom have already competed in Olympic and Commonwealth Games) were donning their own club colours to take part in the two-and-a-half day meet.

Lauren and Caitlin kicked-off the Friday evening sessions with 50m Back and 50m Fly. Both were on their times for Back while Caitlin PB’d in the Fly.

Saturday all day Lauren and Caitlin looked the part and mingled with the ’hierarchy’.

Lauren 50m Breast (PB’d) and 100m Back (PB’d), Caitlin 50m Breast (PB’d) and 100 Free (on time). Sunday morning saw Caitlin going solo and swimming her 50m Free and 100m Breast.

In the afternoon Lauren Thomson was joined by team-mate Briony Rollo and both girls swam in the 100m Breast heats and both got PBs.

Thanks were expressed to club coaches Gordon Willox and Gail Murray who saw the girls through all sessions and supported them throughout the weekend. Thanks were also extended to Colin Reekie who couldn’t be there but gave his support via technology.
