Peterhead were awarded a walkover victory as Garioch were unfortunately unable to field a full team.
With only seven players by kick off the Inverurie-based team were in no position to play a competitive match.
The home side supplemented the visitors teams to allow a bounce game to go ahead.
It was little contest however with the Blue Toon running out 67-12 winners.
Under the rules, as the match was forfeited, Peterhead will be awarded a 28-0 victory and will miss out on a bonus point for their tries.
Peterhead assistant coach Mike Reeves said: “Thanks to the seven who stayed to play a bounce game and to the Peterhead players who chose to pull on the Garioch shirt beside them.
“A good natured but hard fought match was won convincingly by the Peterhead side before the Christmas dinner celebrations at the Albert Hotel where the meal was again superb. Thanks to Terri and her staff for making it an excellent evening.
“Training continues Tuesday and Thursday 7pm at Catto Park.”
Peterhead travel to face Ellon 2nds on Saturday.
