Balmoor Gymnastics Club members took part in two, two- piece competitions recently.

The first event was held in Kirkcaldy on Saturday, March 22, with top five results as follows:

Under 10 boys - Fraser McCallum (1st floor, 1st vault, 1st overall).

Under 8 girls - Tiffany Buchan (2nd floor, 4th overall); Neeve Smith (3rd floor); Steffie West (5th floor).

The under 8 feam of Tiffany Buchan, Neeve Smith, Steffie West and Ebonnie Buchanca,e an impressive third overally.

The second competition was held in Aberdeen on Sunday,March 23, with medal winner on the day being Georgia Strachan who came first on on vault.

All the club’s gymnasts competed to a very high standard at both competitions and the coaches at Balmoor have expressed how proud they are of them.

The club has also wished Fraser McCallum all the best as he leaves Balmoor to train in the boys squad in Aberdeen.

Balmoor Gymnastics club was first started in 2005 and now has around 140 gymnasts both boys and girls going along each week.

The coaches, assistant coaches, helpers and judges are all volunteers who give up their own time to keep the club running for gymnasts in the local community.
