It proved to be a great day for the Peterhead Swimming club members attending the Cults Otters Challenge Meet.

A tough day’s competition was had with lots of quality opposition.

With the swimming season only just started and the Blue Toon swimmers getting back to competition fit, it was uncertain how it would go.

The Peterhead kids gave it a real go with some great swims. Swimmers were Briony Rollo, Erin Reekie, Blair Reekie, Caitlin Davies and Aidan Low.

They were placed in many events and medals were awarded to Caitlin Davies who gained a silver in the 100m Frontcrawl.

A special mention was made of Aidan Low who won four goldmedals for the 100m Free/Back/Butterfly and Breaststroke and accumulated enough points for the ‘11/12 Best Boy Trophy’.
