Joel Robertson swam a strong race in the bay’s unforgivingly cold water to snatch third.

The event on at the lido on Thursday evening, one of the highlights of the festival, saw a good crowd turn out to cheer on the 15 competitors.

The swimmers entered the water from the pontoon where the boats are berthed, they than swam towards the green bouy outside the marina, around the bouy and back into the marina finishing on the beach at the lido.
