Peterhead swimmers enjoyed another cracking weekend at the Bridge of Don Banded Meet recently, with a good medal haul and brilliant PBs.

The medal count saw Sarah Murray pick up two bronze medals in breaststroke and fly.

Emily McGee took silver in the fly and a bronze in the backstroke, while Ewan May was awarded bronze in the fly.

A gold medal was presented to Benjamin Dougall in breaststroke, while it was also gold for Kayleigh Murray in backstroke (along with a bronze in freestyle), and Lauren Thomson in freestyle.

Leah Garland picked up silver in the freestyle, while Lauren Willox took gold in the breaststroke and silver in the fly.

Finally the freestyle relay team of Kayleigh Murray, Emily McGee, Bobby-Drew Buchan and Benjamin Dougall got the silver.

Some good swims that just missed out on medals included Briony Rollo who had two fourth places, one just missing the third spot by 0.02 of a second.

Lauren Davidson also swam well and had two fifth places.

Special mention must got to Emma Mutch who attended her first gala away from club galas. She had wonderful PBs with a massive 15 seconds off her breaststroke and six seconds off her freestyle and backstroke.
