In the Deejays Nightclub League, Rosehearty Thistle entertained St Drostans in a league game and it ended with a 3-1 win for Sam and his lads.
The winning goals were scored by Derek Mathieson with a brace and the other from Alan Anderson and replying for the home side was Scott McPherson.
Mormond Thistle had Panasonic Tavern as their league opponents and the home side returned to winning ways scoring two goals without reply. The goals came by the way of Martin Burnette and Calum Brown.
Faithlie United faced Elizabethan Link Up and the home side keep up their 100 % record in the league making it four wins in a row after they won 7-0. Manager Martin Buchan netted hatrick, Ryan Whyte and Gary Clark both hitting a brace.
In the Gordon Leask Memorial Cup 2nd round, New Pitsligo faced Clinton Thistle and the away side were awarded a penalty after Alexander felled Whyte in the box. Gilbert Patterson dispatched the penalty to give Clinton the lead then Willie Noble crossed for Scott Milne to double the visitors lead on 12 minutes.
Jamie Martin added a third goal from close range. Summers in the away goal made a good save from Christie then a free kick was fired in by Stephen and brought another save from Summers. A mistake by Fowlie let in Neil Christie to chip Summers to pull one back for Pitsligo and just before half time a Michael Stephen cross was fired in by Reekie to bring them back to within one goal.
It was all level after Stephen took a quick free kick and Christie flicked on to the post and Michie was on hand to level the score. Clinton then had a big shout for a penalty turned down by the referee.
Another quick free kick by Stephen found Christie and his shot found the bottom corner of the net to end the scoring. Cheers entertained Bellslea for a place in the semi final. It was the visitors that keep up their good start to the season after winning 5-2. Their goals were scored by Arron Gall and Jonathan Garden netting braces and the other from John Ross and for the home side was Scott Falconer and Scott Buchan.
In another quarter final tie New Deer faced former rivals from the Buchan Welfare in Ardallie, Willie Robbie gave the home side the lead in the first half and it stayed that way until 47 minutes when the visitors drew level.
Barry Crighton put the home side ahead on 65 minutes, Willie Robbie added a third and Barry Crighton then scored a fourth before Scott Milne added another to complete the scoring.

In the Buchan Welfare League, the only game to survive the weather was Mambos who entertained Grange United and the home side took the lead in the first minute when a free kick was floated in at the edge of the box and it was fired against the post but Calum Slessor was on hand to score from a couple of yards. In the last minute striker Chris Cameron doubled the home side lead to seal the three points.
Longside Thistle were hosts to Mambos and the home side took the lead with a goal from Scott McSeveney and it stayed that way until the second half when Buchan crossed for substitute Anderson to double Longside lead.
A few minutes later Whyte pulled a goal back for the visitors. Anderson then got his second from a Scott McSeveney cross. Back came Mambos when they were awarded a penalty when Geddes fouled inside the box. Gourley stepped up to fire home to end the scoring. Side keeper Brian Turriff was in excellent form throughout the match making a host of good saves.
Buchanhaven Rangers entertained Cuminestown in a league game and the home side had the best of the first half and at one point in the match led by 3 goals to 1 but the away side fought back and ended up winning 5-3.
The winning scorers were Aiden Bruce, Daryn Bruce, Shane Eels, James Williamson and Euan Mitchel and for the home side was Wayne Parsons, Matthew Kendall and Alexander Davidson.
League Cup group A-Harbour Lights faced Methlick and it ended up with the away side winning by the odd goal in three. Methlick scorers were Kevin taylor and Alan Low and for the home side was Damie Duncan. Harbour Lights finished the match with 10 players after Robbie McKean was sent off.
In the Gordon Leask Memorial Cup 2nd Rd-Peterhead Pensioners faced Elizabethan Link Up for a place in the Quarter Finals against grange United and it was the home side that booked their place in the nex round by scoring four goals without reply. The goals came from Graeme wood, Alan Geddes, David Geddes and evergreen Stormonth with a bullet of a header.
