Peterhead will play Dundee United in the Quarter-Finals of the Irn-Bru Scottish Challenge Cup.

The match will take place at Tannadice on Saturday, September 3, with a 3:00pm kick off currently scheduled.

After finishing as runner-up in the competition last season, Peterhead progressed to this year’s Quarter-Final with a 3-2 win over Highland League side Brora Rangers at Balmoor onTuesday night.

Goals from Rory McAllister, Jordan Brown and Leighton McIntosh sent Peterhead through after they trailed 2-0.

Dundee United enter the competition at this stage alongside fellow Championship side Hibs, who will take on Highland League side Turriff at the Haughs.

Peterhead boss Jim McInally is no stranger to Tannadice, having made over 250 appearance for United between 1986 and 1995.
