Jim McInally insists that despite his team’s fresh injury woes, the Blue Toon are favourites for this weeks Stirling clash.
Third placed Stirling Albion, who are three points behind Peterhead but have a game in hand, went five games without defeat before falling 2-1 to Albion Rovers last week.
McInally said: “Every game in this league you have to play on its own merit. Despite injuries we’re in a decent place right now - we’re still handy.”
Peterhead were without Rory McAllister, Bryan Gilfillan, Fraser McLaren and Craig Tully on Saturday.
“We’ve got a squad and we’ll maybe have a few bodies back this week.”
