Round-up of League Two results:

Albion Rovers did not play in League Two this weekend, instead setting up a Scottish Cup quater-final against Rangers with a 2-0 win over Stenhousemuir. Annan Athletic, whose visit to Balmoor was abandoned last week, move into second place following a tight win over Montrose 1-0. Star man Josh Todd netted the only goal. East Stirlingshire replaced their neighbours Stirling Albion in top four with a 3-1 win over Elgin. Scott Maxwell, Michael Bolochoweckyj and Max Wright all fired past Raymond Jellema. Finally Berwick beat Queen’s Park 1-0.

Rory becomes the joint-second striker in SPFL:

A goal for Peterhead’s Rory McAllister in the Blue Toon’s victory over Stirling Albion moved him into second place in the Scottish scoring charts. McAllister has netted 17 times this season, level with Celtic’s Kris Commons. Only Ayr’s Michael Moffat (19) has scored more. Moffat is serving a six-match ban for a gambling offence.

Peterhead’s home game against rivals Annan Athletic, abandoned last week due to severe weather conditions at Balmoor, has been rearranged for Tuesday, March 4 at 7.45pm.
