Next up, the Gable Endies

The next challenge for Peterhead FC is a tough away trip to Montrose.

The Gable Endies have scored in every league match they’ve played this season though have yet to win at home.

Jim McInally knows they can be formidable opposition. He said: “Every game has got different problems - you got to Montrose and they’re a well organised physical side.

“They’ve got a big striker in Garry Wood and a wee boy who scored a couple on saturday.

“You’ve always got your work cut out when you go there.”

Despite the goal threat Montrose do pose, McInally is not overly concerned about being outscored given the form his two strikers are now in.

Rory McAllister and Fraser McLaren both scored on Saturday.

“Every game we go into I’m confident we can win it, regardless of who its against.

“It’s important we keep that work ethic about it us.”
