New faces at Maud

MAUD JFC have announced a new management and coaching team at Maud JFC in the form of Gavin Wemyss, Allan Hale, Gary Mann and Robert Bartlett.

Allan and Gary have put together a very experienced management team and at the training session last week the squad was assembled and looked hungry and eager to start the season.

A spokesman for the club said: “Everyone at Maud is excited at the prospect of this squad proving themselves in the Superleague, and with a high proportion of new players from the Highland League it promises to be in interesting season.”

Meanwhile, the club has signed experienced defender Graham Bain from Rothes FC on a two-year deal after his contract expired.

Robert Morrice hasalso joined on a two-year deal from Fraserburgh FC for an undisclosed fee and Craig Ritchie has also joined on a two-year deal on a free after his contract with Fraserburgh FC expired.

A further two-year deal has been agreed with James Duguid after his contract at Turriff Utd had expired.

Ex-Fraserburgh FC players Jonathan Garden and John Ross have also signed one year and two-year contracts respectively, while Andi Bremner has also signed on a two-year deal.
