Maud travelled to face Banchory St Ternan at the weekend looking for their first win in four games.
They had to make a few changes to the starting line-up due to injuries and started well, however it was Henderson who came closest to opening the scoring for the home side with a driving shot which went close.
There were brief spells of action around both goals and Fraser had a chance of the opener when he rifled in a shot from outside the box but it went straight at McIntosh in the home goal.
Just before half time Morrice cut in from the left and his fierce drive was palmed out and Bremner netted the rebound only to be ruled out for offside.
Maud started the second half on the front foot and Alexander sent a dangerous ball right across the six-yard box which found no takers in the box.
The visitors took the lead on 50 minutes when Barbour played a ball to Alexander out on the left and he cut in and fired the ball low to the keeper’s left and it went in off the post.
Morrice fired a shot from distance which McIntosh dived low to his right to save then a free kick taken by Bremner needed McIntosh to react quickly to save comfortably.
Maud had a let-off on 80 minutes when Napier burst through the Maud defence and was one on one with Barbour in the away goals but his shot was brilliantly saved by Barbour who had very little to do throughout the game.
The last chance of the match fell to the home side when a corner came in Logie saw his header blocked by Robertson inside the six-yard box.
This was a much more solid performance by Maud on their way back to winning ways.
Alexander at left back had a fine game for the visitors and Maud could have scored a few
more but a clean sheet and another three league points were the order of the day. Maud have another two games this week with a home game against Ellon on Tuesday (7.15pm kick-off) and then the semi-final of the McBookie.com McLeman Cup on Saturday away to Stonehaven (2pm kick-off.
