IN the Buchan Welfare League, Mambos were home against BH Rangers and the home side hit double figures against the new boys winning by 10-1.
The goals came from Alan Brown with a hatrick, braces from Luke Stephen and Andy Whyte and one apiece from Scott Bruce, from a penalty rebound, Bruce Coull and Lewis Thompson.
Longside Thistle faced Grange United and this was expected to be a close affair and the match ended goalless with neither side finding the net so both had to settle for a point.
The top two teams Cuminestown and Peterhead Pensioners met at Cuminestown and this was also going to be a close match and it ended with league leaders winning by 2-1. The winning goals were scored by Shane Eels and James Williamson and for the away side was Darren Anderson.
The last league match saw Ardallie face Methlick and it ended with the home side gaining another three points after scoring three goals without reply.
The scorers were Stuart Park with a brace and the other from David Ingram.
In the League Cup Group A, Ardallie had Longside Thistle as opponents and with the home side continued progress this season, with the match resulting in a 3-3 draw.
The home side scorers were Scott Bartlet, Jamie McNeill and Stuart Park and for the visitors was Davie Anderson with a brace and one from Wayne Buchan.
Another group A match was between Cuminestown and Harbour Lights and this was a high-scoring match which resulted in a win for the home side by 8-3.
The away side led 2-1 at half time and then drew level at 3-3 before the young guys got going.
The winning goals came from Mitchell, who netted a hatrick, a brace from Moynihan and one apiece from A. Bruce, Brett and Sokolnicki who scored direct from a corner.
Replying for the visitors were Buchan, Bruce and Duncan. The home side did miss two penalties by Williamson and Jamieson. The away side had a man sent off to finish the game with ten players.
In Group B, Mambos entertained rivals Phd Pensioners and in another high-scoring game the away side had a comfortable win by 8-4.
Duncan Summers netted a hatrick, each a brilliant strike with his trusted left foot. David Geddes and Alan Geddes scored a brace each and one from Billy McNeil and for the home side were Scott Bruce with two, Luke Stephen and one from keeper Gordon Park.
Buchanhaven Rangers faced an in-form Grange United and the away side continued to impress in a 9-1 win,
They had three players all netting hatricks - Mark Walker, James Watson and Brent Holtby Wall, while Wayne Parsons got a consolation goal for the home side.
