Peterhead Football Club will taken on City rivals Aberdeen FC in this year’s Scottish Week Challenge Cup.

The match will take place at Balmoor Staidum on Tuesday, July 23, and it is hoped that a bumper crowd will turn out to support the home team.

Blue Toon boss Jim McInally will be sure to be parading some new signings for this historic fixture, which always proves a hit with the fans of both teams.

And with new Aberdeen FC boss Derek McInnes also on the hunt for new signings it will be a great opportunity for Dons fans to see his new-look team for the 2013/14 season.

Peterhead are the current holders of the Scottish Week Challenge Cup, but Aberdeen will be keen to lift their first item of silverware under the new management team.

For those wishing to make a special day of it, an exclusive package is available including a supper menu, complimentary glass of wine anda seat in the stand.
