Charity auction back on this Friday night

Mintlaw Academy’s postponed charity auction is back on and will be held on Friday, December 17.

Doors will be open at 6.30pm for viewing and the auction starts at 7pm, finishing at around 9pm.

Money raised will be split between CALICO (Cancer And Leukaemia In Children Orientated) which is a local North-east charity since 1983, this years rock challenge entry and the schools SVS class.

The academy has more than 30 items being auctioned including a signed Mark Webber baseball cap, a framed set of nine signed photographs of some of the Eastenders cast.

The auction will be held in the Social Area with teas, coffees and fancy pieces being served in the canteen at interval time.

The fancy pieces have kindly been donated by the Happy Plant and Murdoch Allan and Sons Bakery.

Tickets are available for sale at the school office priced £3.

Sealed bids can be submitted to Mr Sneddon at Mintlaw Academy stating what item, your bid and maximum bid, your name and contact telephone number.
