Bay fail to take their chances

New Elgin 2

Cruden Bay 0

Cruden Bay Bay were at New Elgin on Saturday in a PMAC SuperLeague game. It was a game in which the Bay started slowly but then got into their stride and applied considerable pressure.

They went behind to a goal scored directly from a free kick from Shanks and for most of the remainder it was mainly all The Bay.

They created several chances but failed to capitalise on any of them and went in at half time a goal behind.

It was the same story in the second half.

From the restart The Bay went onto the attack.

However, the fell to a sucker punch with a breakaway goal from Shanks.

The Bay continued to

press forcing corner after corner, hitting the post, but failing to convert any chances.
