Duncans Cycles has teamed up with Bicycle Legal and are giving you the chance to be a lucky winner of a Topeak Headlux safety light.
Bicycle Legal is the cyclists’ expert legal advice service and principal solicitor Andrew Bird says: “By law, cyclists muse use lights on their bike after dark. Being extra visible will also help cyclists in Buchan to be safe.”
The lights which are up for grabs are the latest craze for cyclists, having both a white and a red light they can be attached to a cycle helmet making them a flexible source of additional lighting for cycling either at dusk or after dark.
Gary Duncan, owner of Duncans Cycles, added: “This competition will not only make cyclist users safer but it promotes the importance of using cycle lights locally.
“Lights aren’t used enough in my opinion, a lot of people only use them in the winter but it still get just as dark in the summer nights.”
