Visitors from across the North-east turned out for the annual ‘Wild About Aden’ event recently.
Children, parents and family members flocked to Aden Country Park for the two-day event which featured a host of family-friendly activities.
This year’s event included a climbing wall, zorb balls, refreshments, music, stalls and, of course, circus skills courtesy of local organisation Theatre Modo. Scores of children and young people headed to the old mansion at Aden to take part in the Modo fun - which included tight-rope walking and plate-spinning.
Also present at Wild About Aden was Shell, who had a stall to teach visiting youngsters about how Carbon Capture works through a range of fun activities. Commenting, Creative Director of Theatre Modo Martin Danziger said: “I love this event, it’s such a lovely event. “We’ve been here four or five years and it’s always been really well attended, and it’s such an amazing location as well.”
