A NEW Peterhead hair salon is getting behind good causes as it throws open its doors to the public.
Upper Kutz on Merchant Street is the brainchild of local mum-of-three Stacey Price who hopes to bring a bit of glamour to the Blue Toon with a salon which is child-friendly, accessible and affordable.
Opening on Saturday, June 30 at 9am, it launches in conjunction with a charity fun day in aid of Yorkhill Children’s Hospital and the opening of its Recycling Bra Bank in support of Peterhead Projects Ltd.
The Projects team has set a charity target of recycling one ton of bras while raising £1,000 for ‘Against Breast Cancer Charity’.
Upper Kutz is keen to support local charities and groups with fundraising initiatives and ideas in the future. For more information or for sponsorship forms to take part in charity head shaving or eyebrow/chest waxing call Stacey on 07746 192 787or pop in to the salon.
