AN Aberdeenshire road will be partially closed later this month to allow for repairs.
Part of the A952 closed yesterday (Monday, August 20), for five days to allow for resurfacing work to be carried out.
The closure will take effect from around one mile south of Ardallie to the A952’s junction with the Toll of Birness at the A90.
Aberdeenshire Council said diversions will be signposted via the A950 Mintlaw to Peterhead road, the A90 bypass at Peterhead and the A90 Peterhead to Toll of Birness Road.
In addition, the minor roads of the U74B and U75B will be closed with access only from the A90.
Pedestrian access will be maintained in all cases, as will vehicle access affected to affected properties where possible.
The local authority has apologised for any inconvenience during the work.
Motorists can check on the council’s website for regular updates on all road closures in the area at www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/roads/traffic/closures asp
