The RNLI Peterhead Tamar Lifeboat launched on its first shout of the year on Tuesday, January 13.

‘The Misses Robertson of Kintail’ launched at 12.02pm with its volunteer crew to rescue a disabled Fraserburgh fishing vessel 2N Miles North East of Peterhead.

The lifeboat towed the fishing vessel to Peterhead harbour.

After the lifeboat and casualty reached Peterhead harbour, the tow was taken over, and the fishing boat was berthed by a harbour tug.
