Relay for Life Peterhead is celebrating ten fantastic years of fundraising.

The Blue Toon event has raised more than £1 million over the last nine years which has been fundamental in helping the fight to find a cures for cancer.

The survivors at Relay for Life Peterhead are a fantastic group of people who have beaten cancer, or who are currently fighting the disease.

If you are a Cancer survivor, Relay for Life Peterhead would be honoured if you and your families would join them during the event on the weekend of July 4 and 5.

The survivors do the opening lap at 11am on Saturday, July 4, and then are treated to a fine reception lunch.

New survivors, and survivors from previous years are invited to go along.

Meanwhile, organisers are also looking for more teams to join the relay to help raise money for the tremendous work that Cancer Research UK is doing to help with prevention and cures for cancer.

To register as a survivor or a team go to cruk.org/relay.

The relay also has a Facebook page you can view – “Cancer Research UK Relay For Life Peterhead” - which is full of all the group’s great fundraising efforts so far!

It is an emotional weekend full of fun, activity and hope and one you won’t forget or regret.

Why not go along and help join the fight against cancer at Relay for Life Peterhead 2015.
