Hundreds of local folk flocked to the Muckle Market in Peterhead’s Broad Street on Saturday.
With the weather remaining fine, stallholders enjoyed good trade throughout the day.
Entertainment came courtesy of Buchan Community Radio and presenter Ronnie Arthur, with popular singers Alasdair Corbett and Kerry Short belting out the hits for all to enjoy.
The market, organised by Peterhead Projects Limited (PPL), gave the perfect opportunity for its new social regeneration officer Simon Bedford to meet both sellers and shoppers.
He said: “I was delighted to see so many people supporting the market and I’m looking forward to the next one on Saturday, November 22.”
PPL project development manager Ken Duncan added: “Once again the market proved popular and I would like to thank Morgan Enterprises, Clear Storage, Aberdeenshire Council and all our volunteers and traders for making it such a success.
“The roots of this market were firmly established thanks to the efforts of our former social regeneration officer Alex Geddes and we are aiming to bring in new attractions in the future for the whole community to enjoy.”
