Sisterhood session draws to a close

Peterhead Methodist Church Sisterhood will meet on Wednesday, April 24, at 7.15pm when the minister, the Rev. Isobel Akers, as the speaker will bring the session to a close.

Morning worship in Peterhead Old Parish Church on Sunday, April 28, is at 11am and the service will be led by the Rev. Fred Coutts. All are welcome.

On Sunday, April 28, in Old Deer Church at 10.30am the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated and led by the Rev. Sheila Kirk.

There is no Sunday School that morning.

Later that day at 6pm in Stuartfield Hall, the Rev. Sheila Kirk will lead a service which will include the celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

St. Drostan’s Episcopal Church, Old Deer, is to be having a Family Service on Sunday, April 28, commencing at 11am.

There will be the regular morning worship at 11am in Peterhead Methodist Church on Sunday, April 28. In the afternoon at 4pm, the local congregation are to be the hosts for a united Circuit Service which will formally recognise the appointment of two new Local Preachers – Mrs. Frances Scott, Peterhead, and Mrs. Lesley Busby-Waltho, Glenlivet.

Peterhead Old Parish Church Senior Ladies’ Fellowship will bring their session to a close on Monday, April 29, when they are to have their Spring Tea.

Cruden Parish Church Guild A.G.M. is on Monday, April 29, at 7.30pm in the church hall, after which an illustrated talk on Buchan Coast’s Wild Flowers will be presented by Janet McLeman.

Please note that the Cruden Parish “Coffee and Chat” is on Wednesday, May 1, at 10.30am in the Hall.

The Buchan East Presbyterial Council will be having the Annual Coffee Evening in the Fraserburgh Old Parish Church Centre on Wednesday, May 1, commencing at 7.30pm.

A Buttery Morning is to be held in Peterhead Trinity Church Hall on Saturday, April 27, from 10am – 12 noon. There will be various stalls also and admission is £2.

The proceeds are to benefit the cause of Peterhead Aged and Infirm. All are welcome.
