Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses after a large disturbance outside a Peterhead nightclub last night.
Several peoplewere injured in the incident outside Mambo’s on Queen Street.
Officers arrived on the scene at around 1.30am.
Local Policing Inspector Andy Imray said: “A disturbance took place and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened.
“We are committed to keeping people safe and this incident will be fully investigated.
“We are following positive lines of enquiry and those involved in this incident can expect to be dealt with robustly as conduct such as this will not be tolerated.
Inspector Imray continued: “Our message is clear we want people to have a good time when they are out but to do so responsibly and we will continue to work closely with licensed premises and partner agencies to ensure our communities are safe environments for people to enjoy themselves.”
