The event was held at the Peterhead Community Centre and, as well as music and dancing, there were the usual refreshments and party games.

Music during the two-hour event was provided by Flotation Disco.

Commenting, Scottish Week secretary Sandra Cordiner said: "This is one of the most successful parties we've ever had.

"We couldn't have done it without Murdoch Allan - who have provided the food bags - and Flotation Disco, who have captivated the children.

"The kids have done so well dressing up with their pyjamas and dressing their teddy bears. The kids certainly aren't ready for their beds!"
