A TOTAL of £670 was handed over to representatives from Peterhead Community Hospital’s Summers Ward recently following a successful charity quiz night at Boddam’s Rocksley Inn.
The quiz was held by members of the Harbour Light Lodge No 9009, who expressed thanks to all who attended the event and helped raise such a fantastic sum.
The Lodge regularly raises money for worthy causes and this year, Summers Ward was chosen as the recipient.
On the night a total of £336 was raised from the teams which took part, along with contributions from Rocksly regulars.
And added to what the Lodge had saved over the last ten months the total amount handed over to Summers Ward came to £670.
Congratulations and thanks were expressed to Emma and the staff of the Rocksley Inn for providing a great night.
Thanks were also given to Tracy Johnston and staff of the Summers Ward for their kindness and professionalism at work in the ward.
And special thanks were extended to all who dipped deep into their pockets to provide the substantial sum for the Summers Ward.
Members of the Lodge are now looking forward to the next fundraising venture.
