The longest running buttery morning featured in the annual Scottish Week celebrations returned to the Palace Hotel in Prince Street again this year.

Popular since it first appeared on the programme in 1964, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (R.N.L.I.) buttery morning welcomed the crowds again on Wednesday.

The R.N.L.I funds lifeboats across the UK and with to end preventable deaths at sea. Since 2001, more than 140,000 lives have been saved and as more people use the beaches and sea for pleasure, crews are responding to an increasing number of incidents.
