THE popular car boot sale in Peterhead is returning to town on Saturday morning (March 5), with a host of bargains available.
Following last year’s successful regular event Peterhead Projects Limited havs once again arranged to feature the weekly event starting this Saturday and running through each Saturday morning into October.
Car Booters can occupy the site from 7.30am and the sale is open to customers from 8am to 1pm.
The location is the same as last year and occupies half of the temporary car park on the former St. Peter Street flats site.
All comments received from car booters and customers have been taken into account this year and as a consequence organisers, Petrhead Projects Limited, has adjusted the layou.
Peterhead Projects Limited is a not for profit community trust with all surplus income being poured back into an ever increasing range of community activities.
In addition to the car boot sale it also operates a shop at 35 Broad Street in the town, runs an innovative recycling project from three shop units based at Berryden Road shopping Complex called 2 Re Use, and will shortly develop a 40-acre community woodland on the outskirts of town.
The organisation also hopes to be able to announce further developments on other projects in the coming months.
Peterhead Projects Limited is always seeking new members or those who can volunteer some time or skills in any of its projects.
