Changes to council contact telephone details issued

With immediate effect, Aberdeenshire Council has made changes to the way that residents can contact the council by phone.

The council has simplified the list of phone numbers available and also moved from 0845 prefixed numbers to 0345 prefixed numbers.

The main benefit of using 0345 numbers is that they can now be included as part of a mobile package, meaning customers will no longer be charged at a premium rate when calling Aberdeenshire Council from a mobile.

For those calling the council from a landline, calls will continue to be charged at local rates. The updated numbers are outlined below, although the existing 0845 numbers will remain active for emergency calls.
