Ordiquihill Primary School near Banff has received high-visibility vests from Peterhead firms Genesis and StudioFour.

Two Peterhead firms have been helping to keep youngsters safe this winter by donating branded high visiblity vests to a North-east primary school.

Genesis Personnel, which has offices in Aberdeen and Peterhead, donated the safety attire along with local design studio, StudioFour, to Ordiquhill Primary School, based in Cornhill near Banff.

The two firms, both headquartered in the Blue Toon, joined forces to design and donate 20 of the high visibility vests for the older children travelling to and from school, to help keep them safe during the darker winter nights.

Wendy Marr, managing director of Genesis Personnel and director of StudioFour, said: “When we heard both the primary school and parents were concerned about the childrens’ safety travelling to and from school, we were more than happy to provide our help. Genesis Personnel supplied the school with the vests, while StudioFour kindly printed them for us.

“We recently visited the school and met with the children who received the vests, they were all very grateful. We are always open to helping out in our hometown of Peterhead, and so were more than happy to spread this help a little further North.”
