Peterhead Camera Club held its annual meal and presentation night at Buchanhaven Hearts Social Club recently.
After an excellent meal the chairman, Norman Laird, presented the prizes.
Club Photographer of the Year was Joan Remington with Valerie Wright a close runner-up.
The Young Photographer of the Year award went to Caitlin Simpson, while Best Newcomer was Dorothy Crawford.
A new prize of junior newcomer went to eight years-old Erin Simpson.
Winners of individual themed competitions were Michael McDonald (Open, Water, Ravages of Time and Colours), Kenny Buchan (Black & White) and Norman Laird (Natural History).
The Portfolio prize went to Andrew Simpson.
Joint winners of the most popular image during the club’s exhibition at Arbuthnot Museum were Kenny Buchan, Wilson Cardno and Michael McDonald.
The prize for the member with the highest scoring club image in the Grampian Eye competition was also shared between Kenny, Wilson and Norman Laird.
One cup still to be presented is the “Bloo Toon” Trophy which will be awarded to the club member whose image receives the highest number of votes from the public during the club’s Scottish Week exhibition at the Trinity Church Hall.
