Plans for new homes in an Aberdeenshire community were given the green light at the Buchan Area Committee earlier this week.
Property developers Hatton Vale were granted permission to erect 21 homes in the village of its namesake.
However, there was some slight concerns raised over an increase in traffic.
But planners recommended the Buchan Area Committee to back the plans after a deal to implement a one-way street system.
Aberdeenshire Council had rejected the plans in December, allowing for a visit to the area.
The visit convinced councillors to vote unanimously in favour at the next meeting.
Hatton Vale’s project manager Ron Duguid described the decision as a ‘milestone’ for them.
