Craigewan Photographic Club recently held its first competition of the season which was open and comprised of three images of anything the photographer wished to put in.

This was a digital entry and was judged by Penny Piddock of Dorchester Camera Club in England.

In a very close contest Neil Gow came out in top with 54 points and Fiona Mcrae and Charlie Davidson were equal second with 52 points. Peter Lewis was third with 51 points.

The junior competition was a close run thing with Ryan Fraser just edging out new members Alannah Crawford and Nieve Paterson.

The club has now closed for its Christmas break and restarts at Buchanhaven Heritage Centre on January 12.

Anyone interested in joining the club can get in contact through the website www.craigewanpg.com or via its Facebook page.
