A North-east MSP made a special visit to Peterhead recently.
Mark McDonald MSP visited the town’s Rock School last week, where he toured the building and met with successful Peterhead band, Raw Stereo.
Following the tour, Raw Stereo, fresh from taking part in the Live and Unsigned competition in London, treated Mr McDonald to a special six-song performance.
Commenting on the visit, Rock School owner Davy Legg said: “I think Mark McDonald was very impressed with the Rock School. He was also very impressed by the dedication of teachers and students at the school.
“He was very interested in what we do here and we spoke about the possibility of working more closely with local schools.
“It was great to meet him and we would be delighted to welcome him back any time,” he added.
