Thanks to funding from CashBack for Communities and individual fundraising efforts, Modo will be returning to Mintlaw with its popular programme of workshops

The group, which works with youngsters, had to abandon its workshops in Mintlaw and Fraserburgh last year due to a lack of funding.

But now, thanks to a cash injection, it will re-start the workshops as of next week.

The youngsters won’t get to rest on their laurels though as they will be getting stuck in to preparations for this year’s Aden-een, The Shell Fireworks Parade, which will take place on Friday, October 28, at Aden Country Park.

CircoModo in Mintlaw will run on Wednesdays from 3.15pm to 5.15pm in Mintlaw Academy games hall.

There will be free transport home for rural participants.

Meanwhile, the Fraserburgh workshops will get underway on Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm in Fraserburgh Academy girls gym.

The Peterhead groups will run for P4-P7 pupils on Thursdays from 4pm to 5.30pm and for seniors (S1 upwards) on Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm, both of which will be held in the town’s Rescue Hall.
