A new venture is about to be started by Peterhead Methodist Church in their Queen Street premises. Readers no doubt have come across already the term “Messy Church”.
A number of local Methodist friends have been exploring this as a possibility having had some guidance from experienced helpers elsewhere.
The aim of the project is to open the church up to families who may not come regularly to church, or who have never been to church, and giving to them in an active and informal way some Christian teaching.
This will be happening once a month on a Saturday morning and the first occasion is on July 2 commencing at 10am.
