Travis Rattray and Eilidh Thomas, both pupils in Mrs Bagshaw’s P4/3 class, will appear on our screens on Monday, September 5 at 4.45pm on the cbeebies channel before being repeated on Monday, September 26.

The pupils’ P2/3 class last year - with the help of tecahers Mrs Leys and Mrs Davidson - wrote to Nina while doing their senses topic which then led to the BBC writing to them to ask if they would like to audition for the show.

Travis and Eilidh were successful and filming for the episode started in March when they had to t ravel down to Glasgow to film the lab scenes in the BBC studios.

Then in June they had to travel to M&Ds amusement park where they filmed the location part which involved them being on a log flume which they really enjoyed.

Travis’s mum, Gillian, said: “Both Travis and Eilidh really enjoyed taking part in the filming and getting to meet Nina and her team who were all very nice.”
