The Peterhead Masonic Social Club ran Pool, Darts and Dominoes competitions for a local charity on the weekend of October 11 and 12.
There was a good turnout and a most enjoyable time was had by all.
The total amount raised was £608.50 and it was donated to the local Macmillan Nurses.
The winner of ‘The Jackie Lamb Memorial Shield’ was Joe Geddes with James Moir the runner up.
Winners of ‘The Jimmy Spink Cup’ for Doubles Dominoes were Ally Barrack and James Moir with Andrew Hay and Alex Donaldson runners up.
Winner of ‘The Jimmy Milne (Towdie) Shield’ for Darts was Ally Barrack with Teresa Donaldson the runner up.
The Peterhead Masonic Social Club would like to say thanks to C and L Supplies and Bill Mackie Engineering for supplying trophies for the winners and the runners up.
A special thanks goes to all those who took part in the competitions and gave so generously to a worthwhile cause.
Macmillan Cancer Support chairwoman, Maureen Simpson, collectedthe cheque from club members on behalf of the Macmillan Nurses.
The money will go towards ensuring the nurses can continue their hard work and dedication to those affected by cancer as well as their families.
Macmillan nurses work in the community to help patients through their treatment and can offer help, advice and much needed support.
