MACBI Community Hub manager Connie Strachan said: “We had a really good turn out on the day, 62 participants for our first
sports day.

“I would like to say a big thank you to everyone that came along on the day and to everyone who has been using the facility since it
opened.

“MACBI has gone from strength to strength thanks to all the support and usage from the community.”

MACBI chairman and local councillor Norman Smith is delighted with how successful the facility has been as he explained: “Everything has gone extremely well and better than we had anticipated for the first year.
