The new facility will be open from 9am until 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday for members of the public to go along and get more information on the activities available.

The community and sports facility can host meetings, corprate events, children’s parties, cinema events, dance classes and various other sporting activities.

It has a coffee shop and fitness suite as well as an impressive indoor soft play area which has been modelled on an oil rig.

MACBI Chairman, councillor Norman Smith said: “It has taken ten years of work, a lot of soul searching and getting everything in place including funding and planning, but finally we are seeing the fruits of our labour and we hope it will be well used and supported by the community.”
