Children at Clerkhill School put on a fantastic show for parents, family and friends during their ‘Scottish Night’ celebrations.
Music, singing, Scottish country dancing and poetry recitals were enjoyed by everyone.
The audience was also treated to stovies and an oatcake kindly donated by the Waterside Inn.
The school’s grateful thanks go to members of the community who gave up their time to goalong and play the bagpipes, sing and ‘Address the Haggis’.
Pupils produced some impressive Scottish artwork to decorate the hall and they put in a huge amount of effort learning their Burns and Doric poems.
Winners of the poetry competition were also delighted to receive their official Burns certificates at the school assembly.
