School kids sing to a chorus of cheers

Waiting for Video...

Last week more than 200 pupils from across seven Peterhead schools gathered in the Old Parish Church for two fantastic evenings of choral music.

This year was the first time the Choir Festival was held over two nights, such was its popularity and size.

The two-hour event saw groups from Peterhead Academy, St Fergus, Clerkhill, Meethill, Central, Burnhaven and Buchanhaven schools.

The audience were also treated to two grand performances from all the choirs at once as well as stunning solo pieces by Sianan Watson and Erin Murray who both sang songs from the musical ‘Chess.’
